Shot by IRA gunmen in Bellaghy, Co. Londonderry, as he waited for a lift to work.
His fourteen-year-old son witnessed his murder.
David had survived a previous attempt on his life.
He was married with three children and was Off Duty at the time of his murder.

Murdered by cowardly terrorists.
