    28 years ago today Ian left Gosford Castle never to return. He was ex REME, only having been re-badged a few precious weeks. He lies in Tidworth military cemetry, in peace. He was the first mate that I lost in N Ireland, rest peacefully pal.

      I wished I had known he was there, I was at Tidworth Military Cemetery on the 20th, I'll be there next year if you want me to do anything on your behalf.

              Cant believe it was 51 years yesterday 29th august we lost you dad miss and love you always xx cpl ian armstrong 14 /20th kings hussars . Killed in action northern ireland 29th august 1970
