45 years ago today Dave was tragically killed in an Accidental shooting whilst serving on Op Banner. Today I visited his resting place .said a few words . Played The Bold Kings Hussars regimental march & The Last post. A few words and a lot of thoughts . Only Ruth & I were in Attendance. I Laid The NIVA Cross made by Ruth & a regimental Wreath Also made by Ruth, Rest in Peace old Friend never far from your comrades thoughts , MEREBIMUR!

He was commemorated today on both the Facebook Op Banner memorial sites.
