      Our CO - R.I.P.

43 years since this sad incident. I remember that day very clearly having spoken to him an hour or two beforehand. Gone but not forgotten.

            Rest east Sir.

A bit of trivia. A few years back, the admins were invited to the opening of the new National Army Museum near the Chelsea Hospital. There wasn't too much of an Op Banner display, although better than the one in the IWM, but one of the items on display was I thought a bit macabre. It was part of a broken rotor blade from the crashed helicopter that killed Lt Col Corden-Lloyd. I wasn't too sure about having that as part of a display.
