In memory of my brother LCpl Simon Ware 22 years Coldstream Guards who was killed in South Armagh whilst serving with the 2nd Bn on 17 Aug 1991. He formed part of callsign Y10B who were moving towards a helicopter pick up point north of Carrickovaddy Wood, Newtownhamilton following a three day operation in the area. He was killed instantly when a landmine detonated as he passed a bend in a track in the wood.
