Born in Moira Co Down on the 17 November 1931 who died today in 1983 at the age of 51. his duty done lays to rest at the Church of Ireland Cemetery Moira Co Down .
SERGEANT RONALD DODD,
Killed by Irish Republican Army On 27th October 1971 Sergeant Dodd, aged 34, and a colleague attended the scene of a malicious fire at a farm shed at Gallagh, Toomebridge, County Antrim. As they were about to leave they were fired on, Sergeant Dodd was shot and fatally injured.
Two of Ulsters sons who stood and face those who did not want Law and Order in Ulster fair land.
Less we forget.
