    On this day October 29th The Following lost the lives. While on duty .

    Cpl William Gerald McCROSSAN UDR who was born in Strabane on the the 02 August 1952 died today on the Age 29 October 1979 at he age of 27. He lays at rest at Mountcastle Cemetery.



    Cpl Edward John GREENAWAY UDR born in Armagh on the 16 March 1944 died today 29 October 1986 he was 42 . He lays at rest at Loughall Church Yard


    Rfn Richard Andrew DAVEY RGJ Cheltenham who was born in Cheltenham 02 August 1974 who died on the 29 October 1992 at the young age of 18. he lays in peace . His service took place at Crown Hill Crematorium Milton Keynes.


    Insp Alfred Devlin R U C killed on 29yh October 1971 aged 42
    He was killed in bomb attack on Chichester Road Royal Ulster Constabulary base, off Antrim Road, Belfast.
