At 10.10pm on 29th February 1972 Sergeant Morrow, aged 28, with a colleague was talking to a security guard at a factory at Camlough Road, Newry, County Armagh about a report of intruders when gunmen fired on them, Sergeant Morrow died two days later on 2nd March 1972.
