L/Cpl Joseph Jardine - Aged 43
3rd Bn. Ulster Defence Regiment - C Coy (Part Time)
Shot while working for the Ministry of Agriculture at Middletown, Armagh, when an IRA gunman opened fire on him. He was married with two children and Off Duty at the time of his murder.
