6th Bn. Ulster Defence Regiment - C Coy (Part Time).
Eva was the first female member of the Ulster Defence Regiment (indeed the Security Forces) to be killed in the troubles. She was killed by an IRA rocket and gun attack on the Ulster Defence Regiment base in Clougher, commonly known as 'The Deanery'.
Her husband who was also a Part Time Soldier in the Regiment was also on duty the night she was killed at the base.
Her father died of shock five days later.
Eva was On Duty at the time of her murder.
