ON THIS DAY IN 1972 MARCEL JAMES DOGLAY WAS KILLED BY A BOMB AT SPRINGFIELD ROAD RUC STATION THAT WENT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. JIMMY TO HIS FRIENDS, WAS A VERY POPULAR MEMBER OF THE KINGS REGIMENT AND WAS ONE OF THE FINEST BOXERS TO EVER REPRESENT THEM.
OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH HIS FAMILY AND FORMER COLLEAGUES.
