                    For info.

The name of EVERY RUC man and woman who was killed by terrorists (or died in service) from 1st June 1922 until 3rd November 2001, is inscribed in our memorial gardens in Belfast.

There are over 1200 names there.

Every USC man, who was killed or died in service, including those who later joined the RUC / UDR or regular army has his name inscribed on their obelisk at the NMA, (beside the Ash Grove)

There are over 300 names there.

When added to the names on the Armed Forces memorial, it should ensure everyone who fell in N.Ireland will always be remembered.

Carl and Geordie were KIA when the IRA drove a van packed with explosives to their sangar, in South Armagh. As the lads gave puruit the device was detonated, killing Carl and Geordie and destroying the sangar.
