KINGSMAN ROY CHRISTOPHER ( 1ST BN, THE KING'S REGIMENT )

RIP a brave man, and dedicated Kingsman.
NIVA Welfare contacted Roy's mother some years ago, and presented her with a framed Kings cap badge & GSM on behalf of the Association.
At the time of Roy's untimely death, his mother had not been allowed to retain his cap badge as a memento of her son.
I sometimes wonder who our enemies really were, the IRA, or the MOD.

The King's Regiment
O Thou who didst begin to build the Kingdom of God upon earth through a
company of men, grant that we who are Kingsmen may never cease to be thy
servants, who art the King of Kings; make us true to thee, and guard us with thy
love. Then shall no difficulties daunt us, for we shall be thy soldiers and thou
shalt be our God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
