Hi, I went to Arbroath this afternoon, to try and find Gdsm George Lockhart, but there was no one there to help me so I walked around the cemetery for over 2 hours but could not find him - Sorry.

That made it too late to go back to Kirkcaldy for Gdsm Brian Hill and to Dumfermline for WO1 John Newton.....

But I did find a SSgt Alister Malcolm age 33 died 19/07/2001, no mention of how he died? Also there was a grave of a USMC soldier, died in the early 2000s, he was a young lad. There were also several RAF and a couple of soldiers who died in the WW2...

I should be able to get to North Berwick tomorrow.

Next Monday, I will be in Liverpool for a couple of days. Then the week after I will be at Stockton on Tees, Whitby and Harrowgate.

Nothing to apologise for mate. There have been days when I've gone looking for a particular grave and come up empty handed. Unless we are in possession of an exact location .... grave section, number etc, a lot of it is down to luck.

Took me two visits to find one grave and it was in s*** state, onwards and upwards, it’s a really satisfying thing to do.
